Places in Your Home to Not Install Carpet

When it comes to home décor, not only wall color living room furniture  and ceiling design matters but floor plays an important role. Having a discolored floor or cluttered with unnecessary carpets is the last thing a good home décor lover would like to see. So thinking about flooring aspect is very important. You can have marble tiles, wooden floors or even chips as floors in your home but the most convenient and inexpensive flooring type is carpets.

Carpet could be the great choice when it comes to flooring. It is not only inexpensive but attractive and comfortable too. You can add carpet in any room to change the look of the room or develop a particular theme as well. However not every place in home could be perfect for carpet flooring. There are few worst places where you might like to have carpet in order to give a colorful look but in the end, it would be total waste of money due to some practical reasons.

One inappropriate place to install carpet is kitchen. Usually people install a carpet in kitchen to avoid slipping or keep the kitchen warm. But you should keep in mind that the increased amount of food spills, grease and moisture is not only going to destroy the carpet but also will create problems of cleaning it. Having a dirty carpet in kitchen is the last thing you would want. Secondly, placing a carpet in bathroom is another bad idea. Many homeowners place the carpets in bathroom instead of vinyl or tiles. Bathrooms have too much moisture and in addition to this bleach cleaners would leave the carpet discolored.
