Deep cleaning is an urge which rises once in a year. Spring cleaning could be carried out in any season of the year. All it requires is determination and a little time. When it comes to dining room furnirure cleaning, the amount of mess depends on how often you use the dining room. Even though you use your dining room on special occasions, it does grab dust and dirt which needs to be cleared. Similarly there are tough to reach places and high ceilings that are overlooked in the routine cleaning. Here are the tips to clean your dining room:
- At times, the dining room could be a total mess due to clutter. Toys, newspapers and mail might end up in piles in this room. Get hold of all the items that are not part of this room and place them at some other place to decide their place.
- Remove the dust from knickknacks such as paintings, figurines, photo frames, decorative items and wall arts .
- Windows are the most overlooked places while routine dusting. Clean the window treatments including binds and shades. Woodwork including doorways and baseboards should be wiped down as they contain unlimited dust. Use a ladder to reach walls top, light ceiling and clean light fixtures very carefully. It would be ideal to move the dining furniture in order to clean the walls and woodwork which is behind these items. Even if you have heavy furniture items, you can get help in moving those items for cleaning.
- Use specific cleaners to clean the various furniture stores and fixtures. Use silver polish for silver items, brass polish for brass items, and wood polish for wood furniture. Get a glass cleaner for cleaning the windows. Use vacuum to clean the floor carpets, wax and mop for cleaning wooden flooring.
