UK furniture retailer Furniture in Fashion has published a regional data hub for journalists that takes an unusual approach: instead of releasing figures of its own, it maps which named public bodies actually hold city and regional data on British homes, and supplies the interpretive layer around them. The hub points writers to the Office for National Statistics for population and household composition, HM Land Registry for the UK House Price Index, and the English Housing Survey and its devolved equivalents for dwelling type, age and condition.
