High Gloss Storage Beds with an Industrial Twist

Industrial bedrooms celebrate raw materials such as exposed brick, black metal, reclaimed timber and concrete, and a high gloss storage bed adds a refined contrast that makes the look more comfortable to live with. The polished finish balances rough textures, while built in drawers or an ottoman base keep everyday clutter out of sight, in keeping with the practical roots of the style. In this guide we explain what defines an industrial bedroom and how to choose the right gloss colour, from charcoal and graphite to black, light grey and white. We compare drawer and ottoman storage, explore wall finishes from brick to concrete effect paint, and show how to bring in metal bedside cabinets and chests. You will also find ideas for adding warmth with wood and leather, layering filament lighting, choosing bedding, rugs and flooring and keeping the finish free of brick dust. The result is a bedroom with character that still feels modern....
