Fire pit tables must survive heat from above and British weather from every other direction, and this editorial analysis from Furniture in Fashion explains what that means in practice. Water and debris collecting in the burner pan and control housing cause most failures, so lids and winter covers matter more than any other habit. We conducted no survey fieldwork and quote no durability figures, because no public UK dataset reports fire pit table performance in domestic gardens.
