The Best Computer Desks with Fold-Down Tops

The best computer desks with fold down tops give you a proper place to work without giving up floor space for the whole day. In this guide we look at the main designs: wall mounted desks that close flat, cabinet desks that hide everything behind a door, drop leaf desks on legs and secretary styles with a hinged writing flap. We explain how to judge hinges, stays and surface depth, how much room you need when the top is open, and which design suits a hallway, a bedroom or a living room corner. We also cover laptop and monitor setups, cable routes, seating that tucks away and the storage that keeps a folding desk usable rather than cluttered. Whether you work from home a few days a week or simply want a tidy spot for paperwork, our advice will help you choose a folding desk that suits the way your home actually works....
