What Size Computer Desk Do You Need for Two Monitors?

For two monitors, most people need a computer desk at least 120cm wide and 60cm deep, with 140cm to 160cm wide and 70cm to 80cm deep giving a more comfortable setup. The exact size depends on the screens you use: two 24 inch monitors sit side by side at roughly 110cm wide, while two 27 inch monitors need around 125cm before you add any space for speakers, a lamp or a notebook. Depth matters just as much as width, because you need to sit about an arm's length from the screens to avoid leaning forward or straining your neck. In this guide we explain how to measure your monitors, how stands and monitor arms change the space you need, whether a corner desk is a better fit, and how to check that your room can take a wider desk. We also cover keyboard space, chair clearance and cable planning for a balanced, comfortable setup....
