Bathroom mirrors fail for makeup because of where the light sits, not how bright it is. Furniture in Fashion's 2026 report states plainly that no survey fieldwork was conducted and publishes no statistics, and instead explains the structural problem: a single overhead source casts shadow into the eye sockets, under the nose and beneath the jaw, exactly where blending errors show.
