Furniture in Fashion has published a 2026 delivery data hub for journalists and researchers, built entirely from verifiable dimensions rather than modelled statistics. Its central conclusion is that nearly every failed furniture delivery in Britain fails at a measurement somebody could have taken: the clear opening of a doorway, the diagonal of a quarter landing, the headroom over a staircase or the internal dimensions of a lift car. The hub sets out standard UK internal door leaf widths of 610mm to 838mm and the clear openings they produce, cites the 2m minimum stair headroom in Approved Document K of the Building Regulations for England, and compares assembled against flat packed dimensions for sofas, wardrobes, tables and bed bases.
