A Footstool for Computer Use, An Ergonomic Necessity
You might be settling in for a computer game marathon on-line, or maybe you make your living sitting in front of a keyboard all day. Whatever your reason for being seated in front of a computer, you want to be sure you exercise the best possible computer posture when you’re there. That means you want your monitor at eye level, your keyboard should be low enough to prevent forearm and wrist strain, and you want to ensure that your feet have a special footstool for computer use. We hear a lot about ergonomic furnishings for homes, offices and cars. These types of seats or furnishings are designed to promote good posture and prevent injury. You can even by garden tools with an ergonomic design. So, it strikes me as odd that you can’t find an ergonomic footstool for computer use. I have used a stool for my feet for years. If your legs are short, like mine, a stool can aid in preventing your lower thighs from chafing on the seat of the chair.
