Home Furniture and maintenance go side by side. Almost every day, no matter how much you spend on the quality of home items and fixtures, the errors and problem do arise. Sometimes it’s a fault in bathroom, in kitchen, water taps and much more. In addition to this, things like AC, refrigerator and many electronic devices need maintenance after every 2-3 months. To cope with all the maintenance processes, you cannot be ready all the time. So maintaining a proper room to serve the purpose of maintenance could be the best solution. Keep yourself equipped with every tool in order to solve the problems arising in home items. Here are the tips for developing the maintenance room in a house:
- Most of the times a problem arises in bathrooms as the issues like tap leakage, drain etc create a mess. To deal with them, employ all tools of plumbing and keep the drain cleaning agents in your maintenance room. Introduce separate shelves on walls of your maintenance room to place all the cleaning, sweeping and other detergents. Always remember to place shelves at a height so that kids cannot reach them.
- Keep lower cabinets along with cabinets that can be fixed on walls. Store all the hardware tools like screw drivers, nuts, bolts, levers, hammer, crescent church, putty knife, scraper etc as these are the tools which are used in most of the maintenance work.
- Use different cabinets for different items so that you don’t have to look out for things in detail. If you have a small maintenance room then you can use the storage boxes as well.
- Store items like light bulbs, flashlight, filters, fuses, refrigerator filters, furnace filters, circuit boxed, fuse etc in a separate cabinet so that you know that whenever there is power problem or any problem relating to electrical appliances, you can easily access the tools.
