How To Make The Most Of A Small Bathroom Vanity

It goes without saying that bathroom is a very important room, especially for girls who like to spend a great deal of time there, putting the makeup on. Properly organized space can save not only your time but also make the bathroom cosy and comfortable.

Bring warmth to your bathroom

Soft colours and floral decorations will bring cosiness to the area. Warm illumination and bowl shades will be an excellent addition to the room. If you are a romantic nature, you may put scented candles on the shelves, or dried lavender in bags, combining fragrance with great looks.

Practical solutions for a small bathroom

To organize the room, think about a vanity unit first. What for do you need the space under the washbasin? Use it the right way. You can put everything you need in this small cabinet, and always have the necessary items at hand. Secondly, tub on legs will save a lot of space as mounted bath blocks up the room. One more useful accessory is a curtain on rails. It will add privacy to your bathing. Besides, the floor will stay clean and dry. Rail curtains create a cosy atmosphere. Plus, they are available in different prints and colours.

Storage needs

There are many different types of small cabinets: lockers, chests of drawers, display tables, etc. To save space, you can order a high narrow cabinet with shelves. It can store many different things out of sight. Wall shelves may be very useful for saving bathroom space. Just nail wooden shelves above the bath and you’re set!

Accessories

Mirrors play a significant role in your decoration theme. For a small bathroom, a compact mirror with bowl shades will be the best option. Cute little shelves on both sides are very comfortable to have cosmetics at hand. Plus, they can include a toothbrush stand and a soap-box.

One more important thing is a heated towel rail. Ladder style heated rails, traditional ones, designer rails, turnable ones, heated electrically or by circulating hot water – it is up to you to decide. Make sure it is compact and fits in the bathroom.

Rugs

To keep the floor dry, get a compact rug. Learn about product maintenance requirements, not to spoil the rug when cleaning and drying. Silicone rug, for example, will not let you slip, and it is easy to wash. It dries out very quickly. Cotton rugs look better than silicone ones, but it takes some time to dry them out, especially if heated rails are not appropriate for the procedure. Bamboo rugs are rather good: thin, flexible, and easy to maintain. One warning: you should wear slippers when you stand on it, as the consequences may be sad.

Washbasin

Round shaped, rectangular or square mini washbasin looks neat and compact in a small room, and the little tap does not sprinkle the water around. Free standing washbasin saves the space and offers a chance to install a compact cabinet below. Washbasins are available in all colours and shapes.
