How To Decorate A Studio Flat

A studio flat is great achievement for anyone who owns it and a sign of independence too at the same time. Moving in to your studio flat is like a milestone in anyone’s life. A flat is a great way to show your own sense of style and reflect your personality by setting it in a way that shows who the real you is.

When you start setting a studio flat make sure it’s clean to begin with. Pick up a theme if you want and think that can represent your style. Get things accordingly. Figure out how much space you have. Consider where you can put things and if you will have space left after inserting all your belongings in there. If so, you will have to get a few extra furniture  or decoration pieces that will help you cover the space.  Decide a color theme and go along with it but make sure you don’t pick up way too many colors or you’ll end up with a mess. Stick to two or three colors and keep a balance. Don’t go too bright or too dull. Make sure you have enough lighting in the flat or get extra lamps . There are lots of interesting lamps available out there in the market hence you can easily pick up some of them.

Don’t leave the walls empty. Try to hang something; an artwork, painting, wall hanging or anything. If, however, you flat is relatively smaller and you have lots of things in there already then don’t overload it and the walls. Remember to strike a balance with everything! You can give the final touches to your apartment by adding personalized stuff like musical instruments, pictures, music records here and there or even plants for that matter.
