First, the family unit is strengthened by the time shared at a common meal. That means your family sitting around a table to eat dinner, even if dinner is a pizza delivered by your neighbor\u2019s nephew, is quality time that builds long-lasting familial bonds. Do away with those dining tables<\/strong> and you\u2019ll be bonding with messy pizza on your good sofa. Think about that.<\/p>\n Secondly, the table provides a focal point for the space. Without a dining room table\u00a0, it isn\u2019t really a dining room at all anymore. What then is it? You could completely redo the space, but who wants a bedroom that opens onto the kitchen?
