However, you should be prepared to be firm and consistent \u2014 no exceptions whatsoever. Draw a distinct line between what is allowed and what is not.<\/p>\n

\u2014 closing your bedroom doors will prove pretty helpful in the process. This way, you will know for sure that the cat does not crawl into your bed even when you are away. And, of course, it will alleviate any kind of temptation for the pet.<\/p>\n

Getting cat beds or houses \u2014 finally, you should get a cat house or even a smaller cat bed. All in all, cats love to sometimes change their sleeping spots, but if you provide the pet with something cosy and small to sleep in, it is quite possible that your bed will lose most of its appeal, which is a win-win situation both for the pet and for the owner.<\/p>\n
