We\u2019d drive for hours to reach a park somewhere out in the wilderness. Once we arrived, we\u2019d unpack our tent and sleeping bags, and then, inevitably, we\u2019d find that we forgot to pack something essential. This would not have happened if we\u2019d been organized enough to make a camping checklist before loading up the car. So, before you head out into the great outdoors only to repeat our mistakes, why don\u2019t you stop for a minute right now and do just that?<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/furnitureinfashion.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/FIF-Blog-H-1900x521.jpg\" alt=\"Make A Camping Checklist, Otherwise You\u2019ll Forget\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Start by listing the essentials. Your list for the upcoming camping trip needs to contain all of the essentials, such as:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Your tent<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.furnitureinfashion.net\/stools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Camping stools\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Tent stakes (those are EASY to forget or lose!)<\/li>\n<li>A hammer or hatchet<\/li>\n<li>Sleeping bags<\/li>\n<li>Camp stove and\/or firewood<\/li>\n<li>Matches<\/li>\n<li>A lantern<\/li>\n<li>A shovel<\/li>\n<li>Cooking utensils<\/li>\n<li>Food<\/li>\n<li>Clothing.<\/li>\n<li>First aid ki<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\">Once you\u2019ve gotten the basics on your list, start adding those items that you want to take. You might want your fishing reel and tackle or maybe you\u2019ll need a compass for hiking? Your destination and planned activities will determine a great deal of what goes on the rest of your list.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">If you\u2019re visiting one of the scenic national parks, chances are you can log on to their website and find a list of suggested items to bring along. Looking at that list might help you remember that item you might have overlooked before it\u2019s too late. Then, once you have completed your list, it\u2019s a good idea to keep it handy in case something else comes to mind.
