Types of Modular Home Designs

Modular homes are those homes that are built with modules or sections, which are produced in a factory and then brought by a truck to the construction site furniture stores . Another style quite famous is known as the Cape Cod style, in which floors are made up of wood and roofs are in a slope shape with windows occupying a very little footprint. Cape Cod homes have gardens at both the back and the front and mostly occupy a space of 1000 square feet. They include two bedrooms at maximum so they are not suitable for large families.

Another popular modular home design is the “two-story” modular home which is quite large than the previous ones mentioned. With more floor space and more number of bedrooms, it generally occupies an area of 1600–2600 square feet. The feature that distinguishes them most from other types is that they consist of a bedroom downstairs.
