Antique Style Beds: Wooden Decor Ideas

Antique Twin Beds: Wooden Decor Ideas

No matter if you plan to furnish your children’s bedroom  or the guest room, one of the most important aspects to consider is the comfort. A good night’s sleep in a cozy bed is all one can ask for. But if you want comfort and style to become one, maybe you should look towards unique options. Antique twin beds are such a marvelous choice! Not only do they create a homey feeling, but also add a little bit of elegance to the environment. For a shabby-chic style, these beds  are ideal. So, here you have some wooden décor ideas meant to help you decorate your room in an outstanding manner.

White wooden antique twin beds look gorgeous

For a guest room, it is preferable to install two small beds instead of a single full-sized one. This way, your overnight guests will have plenty of space and privacy. Try white wooden antique twin beds that look absolutely gorgeous! The room seems bigger and brighter in light colors – the antique twin beds go wonderfully with one nightstand in between. Since your visitors are usually on the road, there is no need to clutter the room with a heavy wardrobe. For a night or two, a coat stand is perfect – an excellent alternative that does not eat up a lot of space. At the same time, white wooden twin beds  go wonderfully in the girls’ room. The neutral hue gives you a lot of freedom when choosing matching furniture.

Boys’ room with walnut furniture

An unused attic can easily be turned into a children’s room. Since you have low ceilings, children’s bunk beds  are out of the question. However, two twin beds with a vintage touch will look fabulous. Two boys will get along just fine, even in a small place — especially if you use some tricks to unclutter the room. A sturdy walnut wooden bed frame looks masculine, and a wooden floor beautifully complements the décor. Use a wall-to-wall carpet that still lets some parts of the floor uncovered. Try hiding some baskets under the beds.

Try hardwood floors and walls

A traditional look will definitely match a holiday house by the lake although not everybody is lucky enough to own one. Since it is a place where the whole family gets together, there has to be plenty of room to sleep. So why not try twin beds? A beautiful room with vintage elements will almost always have hardwood floors. Make the most of this enjoyable natural material and try wood walls as well; paint them in pale green or mild crepe. Together with the antique twin beds, the room will look gorgeous!

Use pastel for a sweet and fresh appearance

For a delicate and comfortable look, antique bed frames painted in pastel are simply staggering. Turquoise or deep sky blue look gorgeous, especially in a room with large windows and light curtains. A small white wooden bedside cabinet between the beds and a lampshade will complement the shimmering aspect. Try white painted walls or a delicate wallpaper if you want to go vintage all the way.
