How To Decorate A Nursery, Dwelling Unit For An Infant of A Toddler

Nursery is a dwelling unit for an infant of a toddler. Being a place only for infants, nursery usually consists of tables in order to provide support when changing diapers or placing medicines, baby powder etc. although nursery is the smallest room of the house but as it is the first exposure of the innocent world of the baby, so a baby would definitely develop memories and attachment with this room. So you cannot ignore this room by placing boring furniture . You need to carefully analyze the decoration and designing of the nursery in order to keep the interest of the baby. There are different ideas and techniques which you could use to create an interesting ambiance of the nursery:

  1. Use bright colors in a nursery as the vibrant colors stimulate brain of the baby. Along with this, create a mural on wall which consists of balloons, trees, animals or different shapes. You can also use the family snapshots on the mural.
  2. While you choose a bed sheet for a nursery, make sure that the color and design goes with the theme of the room furniture .
  3. Pain the crib or similar bed with non lead based paint. This will not harm the health of your baby.
  4. You can introduce a comfortable chair  in order to feed your baby and form bonding with your kid. Rocking chair or a glider would be a best choice for this.
  5. Use open chest for toys. Make sure that the chest should be free of door or a lid for such a small baby.
  6. You could also have a baby monitor in order to know what your baby is up to.
  7. Use toys which produce smooth music and tones in order to make your baby enjoy and sleep at the same time.
