Bathroom Storage Accessories That Blends

Discreet bathroom storage  should blend into the room’s décor. After all, everyone needs to store items in the bath. The best storage options provide us with the space we need, but don’t draw attention away from the carefully planned decorative scheme of the room. So, how do you choose storage for the bath that looks good and meets your storage needs?

Start with the size and layout of the room. If the room is small and, has built in items such as the bath/shower, the toilet, the sink, etc, your space is limited. So, then your storage options are going to need to be small and fit the remaining space. In a small bath, a cabinet or a shelf over the back of the toilet offers a good storage option. If you have a flat mirror over the sink, why not opt for replacing the mirror with one which secrets a cabinet? These mirrored cabinets can be recessed into the wall, saving space while providing storage.

Countertop clutter in any size bathroom is a problem. Bathroom storage accessories such as toothbrush holders that also hold the toothpaste, or baskets for storing soaps and other toiletries, are good options to eliminate some of that mess. Towel rings or hooks that can hold multiple towels, in varied sizes, help, too. Bathroom storage in a large bath is easier, but discretion can be problematic. Choose cabinetry, shelving and other storage that won’t detract from your theme. Make sure, also, that you keep them close to where you’ll want to use them. Storing extra towels or tissue across the room from where they’ll be needed, simply doesn’t make efficient use of the space.

Adding discreet, decorative bathroom storage means sizing up your room, your needs and the options available. The right choices eliminate clutter in the bath and provide stylish storage facilities to keep the look and the room clean.
