A Folding Footstool For Travel And Other Tips For Comfy Travel

Does it ever feel like you spend your life on the road? Whether you travel for business, like me, or for pleasure, all that mileage can add up to some serious aches and pains. At my age, I have learned a few tricks that can help make road trips more bearable. I’ve found a secret place to hide a pillow and the magic of a folding footstool  for travel purposes can help immensely. What I’ve learned, I will share with you. furniture stores

Most people buy the small flat, rectangular “travel pillows” for a child’s use or to rest their head upon. I have found, however, that putting it under the meaty portion of my thigh in different positions eliminates the strain of long stretches of driving with my foot on the gas.

Even a passenger who is just sitting still for a long time can prevent an aching lower back by using either a small pillow or even a folded towel behind their sacrum or alternating it under their thighs. A different shift in position uses different muscles, and lessens cumulative strain.

A folding footstool for travel, especially when you’re a short person riding in a big SUV or RV, is a great plus, too. They usually fasten to the floor. Mine uses suction cups. I can keep my feet comfy and alternate positions at the same time. I also like it for use when attending outdoor events where they supply chairs or you have a “folding” chair. The small stool is handy to use and folds up to stow neatly away. So, why not try some of my tricks to make those many hours on the road seem less tedious and more comfy? You might have to adjust them to suit your style of driving and your vehicle, but in the end I’ll bet you’re pleasantly surprised by how much faster the miles speed by why you’re comfortable in your seat.
